These terms and conditions apply when you visit growingcouple.se or growingcouple.com, and when you join our beta waitlist.
Growing Couple is made by Alexander Fräki and Emelie Jensen, in Sweden. We haven't formed a company yet, so for now "we" means the two of us. When we register one, we'll update these terms.
2Using the site
You're welcome to browse, read and share the site. It's free, and you don't need an account.
We only ask that you use it kindly: don't try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and don't use it for anything unlawful.
3The waitlist & beta
- Joining the waitlist is free and without obligation. You can leave at any time.
- It doesn't guarantee a place in the beta, or a date. We'll invite people in small groups, as we're ready.
- The app will have its own terms. You'll see them, and choose whether to accept them, before you create an account.
How we handle your email is described in our Privacy Policy.
4Inspiration, not therapy
Growing Couple is made for inspiration, reflection and everyday closeness. It is not therapy, and it doesn't replace couples counselling or any other professional help.
If your relationship involves violence, threats or control, or if you're in crisis, please reach out to a licensed professional or a support line. In an emergency in Sweden, call 112.
5What we're planning
Some of what you see here, like the ideas on our Our world page, describes things we're still building or dreaming about. They're honest intentions, not promises, and they may change, arrive later, or not at all.
6Our content
The name Growing Couple, our logo, illustrations, texts and design belong to us. Please don't copy, reuse or sell them without asking first.
Sharing a link, or a screenshot with credit, is always welcome. We'd love that.
7Liability
We take care with everything we publish, but the site is offered "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, or free from errors, and we aren't responsible for loss that comes from using it, except where the law says otherwise.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Swedish or EU law.
8Links elsewhere
We link to a few other places, such as our social media. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content.
9Changes
We may update these terms as Growing Couple grows, for example when we form a company or open the app. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change matters to you as someone on the waitlist, we'll tell you by email.
10Law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If we ever disagree, we'd much rather talk it through first. If that doesn't work, disputes are settled by a Swedish court, and if you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's consumer law.
