1Who we are
Growing Couple is made by Alexander Fräki and Emelie Jensen, in Sweden.
We haven't formed a company yet, so for now the two of us are personally responsible for your data, the data controller, in the language of the GDPR. When we register a company, we'll update this policy and let you know.
2What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- A few details sent along with the form: the language of the page, which page you signed up on, the website that linked you here (if any), and the time you signed up.
We don't ask for your name, and we don't collect anything else.
When you visit the site
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind. Our fonts are served from our own site, so a visit doesn't send your data to Google or anyone else.
Like every website, our web host automatically keeps short technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these to identify you.
3Why we use it
We use your email for one thing: to invite you when the private beta opens.
Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6.1 a), which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and we'll remove you. The host's technical logs rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe (art. 6.1 f).
We will never sell your data, share it for marketing, or use it for advertising.
4Where it's stored
Sign-ups are received and stored in a data table in n8n Cloud, run by n8n GmbH in Berlin, Germany. n8n stores its data on Microsoft Azure servers in Frankfurt, within the EU.
n8n acts as our data processor: under a data processing agreement, it may only handle your data on our behalf and on our instructions. Your data stays within the EU, and only the two of us have access to it.
5How long we keep it
We keep your email until the beta opens and we've sent your invitation. After that:
- If you create an account, your email becomes part of it and the app's own privacy policy takes over. We'll never create an account for you without asking.
- If you don't, we delete your email within 12 months of the invitation.
- If you ask us to remove you, we do it right away, at the latest within 30 days.
6Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time:
- ask what data we have about you, and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected, or deleted;
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to it;
- withdraw your consent.
Just write to us. We'll reply within one month. If you feel we've handled your data wrongly, you can also contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY (imy.se).
7Changes
If we change how we handle your data, for example when we form a company, open the app, or add analytics, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects you, we'll tell you by email before it applies, and ask for your consent where it's needed.
